Web Design Terms

  1. Saglotech IT Solutions (Pty) Ltd, hereinafter referred to as "Saglotech," provides professional web design services to clients worldwide. By engaging in our services, clients agree to comply with the terms outlined in this document.
  2. Scope of Work: The scope of work for each web design project will be defined in the project proposal. Any additional features or modifications requested by the client during the project will be subject to additional charges.
  3. Payment: Clients agree to the payment terms outlined in the project proposal. A 50% upfront payment is required before the commencement of the project, with the remaining balance due upon completion and before the delivery of the final project files.
  4. Project Timelines: Project timelines will be mutually agreed upon and outlined in the project proposal. Delays caused by the client, including late provision of content or feedback, may result in project timeline extensions.
  5. Revisions: Clients are entitled to a specified number of revisions as per the project proposal. Additional revisions beyond the agreed-upon number may be subject to additional charges.
  6. Content and Images: Clients are responsible for providing all necessary content and images for their website, unless content creation is explicitly included in the project proposal. Saglotech will not be held liable for delays caused by the late provision of content.
  7. Testing and Acceptance: Upon completion, clients will have the opportunity to review and test the website. Any issues or bugs should be reported promptly. After acceptance, any further changes or additions will be subject to additional charges.
  8. Intellectual Property: Upon full payment, the client owns the intellectual property rights to the final website design. Saglotech retains the right to display the project in portfolios and marketing materials.
  9. Confidentiality: Saglotech agrees to keep all client information confidential and will not share any sensitive information with third parties.
  10. Termination: Either party may terminate the project by providing written notice. Saglotech will retain the rights to all work completed up to the termination date. In the event of termination, some items such as hosting, theme files, domain names, developers' time, may be billed if the client cancels mid-way unless work has not progressed beyond the agreed timeframe.
  11. Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to enter into good-faith negotiations to resolve the issue amicably.
  12. Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any legal proceedings shall take place in the appropriate courts within South Africa.

By engaging in Saglotech's web design services, clients acknowledge and agree to these terms. Saglotech reserves the right to update these terms at any time with prior notice to existing clients with active projects.
